2026 Mullen Award Winner
The Mullen Award, presented annually since 1962 in memory of the founder of the Omaha Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, was awarded to Jolene Kathol on Monday, September 21, 2026, during the OACCW 102nd Annual Convention.
Jolene has devoted many years to serving her parish and community through liturgical ministry, leadership with OACCW, support for vocations, charitable outreach, and numerous programs benefiting women, children, and families in need. She has also volunteered throughout her community while raising five children with her late husband, Eugene, and continues to support Cedar Catholic High School.
Claire Woeppel – Scholarship Winner
Congratulations to Claire Woeppel the recipient of the $750 OACCW Scholarship and the $500 RNW Scholarship for 2024! Claire was awarded the OACCW scholarship at her home parish in Amelia.

The Omaha Urban Council of Catholic Women is sponsoring the 4th Annual Diaper Drive during the month of October. Sixteen parishes in the Omaha metro area are participating under the leadership of parish women’s organizations. Check your parish bulletin to see if your parish is participating.

Bethlehem House Donation
Omaha Urban Deanery dropped off 21 packages of diapers in August at Bethlehem House in Omaha. This is the 3rd diaper delivery this summer made possible with the funds collected during our 1st Annual Diaper Drive. We have also delivered diapers to EPS and Mater Filius in Omaha.

Annual Province Meeting
Highlights from our annual meeting with the Dioceses of Lincoln and Grand Island. The meeting this year was held in Grand Island at Blessed Sacrament Church.
